coffeebid.lol started as a simple side project: no ads, no API keys, no revenue sharing. Just outbid the competition to rank #1 — that's it.

Then it went live

A few numbers since then:

coffeebid.lol is a pay-to-rank leaderboard for Britain's coffeeshops. Whoever posts the biggest bounty sits at #1 as the nation's Most Wanted — outbid them and you take their spot, pushing them down the board.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe — coffeebid.lol never sees or stores your card details. No coffeeshop listed here is affiliated with or has endorsed this site.

Rules

Whoever has posted the biggest bounty for a region sits at #1 for that region. Ties are broken by whoever paid first.

• Bounties start at £5. There's no maximum.
• Every bounty is its own entry — to reclaim #1 after someone outbids you, post a new, higher bounty.
• Rankings update automatically as soon as a payment is confirmed.
• Only list a coffeeshop you have the right to list — we may remove listings that are fake, abusive, illegal, or clearly not a genuine coffeeshop, without a refund.

Terms

By posting a bounty on coffeebid.lol you agree to these terms. coffeebid.lol is a pay-to-rank leaderboard, not a directory, review site, or advertising guarantee — a top ranking reflects the highest bounty paid, not any endorsement by us.

• Payments are final. Bounties are non-refundable once processed, including if you're later outbid.
• We don't guarantee any amount of traffic, clicks, sightings, or business results from a listing.
• We may edit, remove, or decline any listing at our discretion, and may change or discontinue the service at any time.
• Don't use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent, or abusive.
• The service is provided "as is" without warranties; to the extent permitted by law, coffeebid.lol isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it.
• These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Privacy

We keep this simple.

• What we store: the coffeeshop name, link, region, description and bounty amount you submit — these are public and shown on the board.
• Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Your browser: we store a light/dark theme preference locally on your device.
• Visit analytics: we log a random session ID, your browser type, and the page that referred you, so we can count real visits and gauge traffic sources. We don't log or store your IP address.
• Third parties: Stripe (payments), Google's favicon service (site icons), and our hosting/database provider (Render).
